        A Celebration of Life

"...The Love I Saw In You Was Just A Mirage", "Going To A Go-Go" as sung by The Miracles, "I'll Be Doggone", "Ain't That Peculiar" as sung by Marvin Gaye, "Baby Come Close", "Cruising" as sung by yours truly - the thing that all those songs, plus many, many more including "Tracks Of My Tears" all had in common is the fact that all began with this man's fingers - ladies and gentlemen - Mr. Marv Tarplin.

This man composed the music for so many songs that you made popular down throughout the years by so many different artists.  When you see his name on your records - all of those songs had music long before they ever had words.  The music was born through his fingers; his fingers gave all those songs first life."
